Did you know we collect the oysters on the beaches of the Eastern Scheldt?

The Eastern Scheldt is the largest and wettest park of the Netherlands. It is a world of tide, wind and especially water, lots of water. Because of the tide the landscape is always different.

At low tide you can see the plates and silts, at high tide, there’s a game of wind and water. Under water, you will find a beautiful colourful world.

Behind the dikes, you will experience memories of life of the Zeeland people with the sea in the form of fields, and watery areas.

 Where can you pick oysters?

You can see on the Dutch Wildplukwijzer where you can legally collect oysters in the Netherlands.
